He had a sinister tricycle, an array of funky jumpers and an imaginary friend that talked to him through his finger..
.. but what happened to the actor who played Danny Torrance in ‘The Shining’?
Find out after the jump!
While he nearly drove other cast-members into a mental breakdown, director Stanley Kubrick protected actor Danny Lloyd on ‘The Shining’ set so that the six-year old was never actually aware that they were making a horror film.
Danny retired from acting after a 1982 TV movie called ‘Will: The Autobiography of G. Gordon Liddy’.
In 2007 he became a professor of biology at a community college in Kentucky and is now teachers of sciences in Missouri.
Rumour has it that at the beginning of each semester Danny says anyone who asks him about ‘The Shining’ will automatically fail the class.
Danny Lloyd, we salute you!
